Maine. Rednecks. us.

El Nino... who I like to refer to as 'the nino' has really done some bull shit to this year's snow makin'. In January we drove from Virginia to Maine (ask me how fun it was) to find a bit of snow. Luckily, as we pulled into Sunday River, that broad, mother nature, decided to dump 10 inches of fresh powder on our foreheads. It made for two suppppperrrr rad days for snowboarding and skiing, and also gave us just enough snow to break out the snow mobiles up at the cabin in Maine.

The lake had at least 13 inches of ice, the boys tried desperately to catch a fish, the girls stayed warm, the booze stayed alcoholic. all in all... success. Here's to January on a frozen lake in Maine.

Oh... so a frozen lake doesnt sound like too much fun?!

Workshop... by the best.

Wasn't it wicked cool when you were little and met someone who loved their job so much it made you want to be just like them?! Maybe it was a police man, or a fire man, or even you're ballerina teacher. Well... for me, it was my wedding photographers. I met Tara and Ben of Hitched Studios in August of 2009 and walked out of their studio and said "holy shit, those guys are rad." Since then Ive used up just about every excuse I have to hire them.. they shot my wedding, we trashed my dress, took some pics for the dukes, and most recently i got suuuuper comfy in tara's living room... ahwhoopsie.

In December they announced that they were going to do a "Photography Rocks workshop" and I may or may not have been the first to sign up. I pretend like I know what I'm doing with my camera, but most of the time it's a lucky guess. I couldn't have been more psyched to attend, and couldn't be more happy with how much I learned. What an awesome snowy January day in Somerville....

Huuuugggge thanks to Tara and Ben. Can't wait for round two.

A. Train.

I have an older brother, Jonathan, and an older sister, Krissy. Most people aren't aware, but in middle school, I had a second older sister and her name was Jamie. Some thought that she actually lived with us... and Im not sure whether she did or not. cares. what I do know is that Jamie is a forever sister figure for me... and I dont even care where it started. Thank-G that facebook didn't exist back when Kris and Jaim had their Ayer prom dates, because I'd totally show a hurrendous picture if I could possibly upload one.

I refer to Jamie as Slone. why? you ask... because she's Chelsea Handler's older sister... i mean, duh.

anyway... in April of 2011, Slone and her mans, Mark, had an absolutely amazing wedding down in Punta Cana, with the rest of our incestual high school. I think it was the biggest event to hit GD, and here's just a few of my favorite pics. Taken by the ever famous, photo phil.

Isn't it almost unbelievable that after one of the most amazing wedding receptions you have ever been to... that someone ends up pregnant? Welp... lucky for us, the luckies were Jaim and Mark. The smallest soucy came home from Punta Cana, and 9 months later has a very very small and cute face. It took 2.5 weeks for me to meet her, but when I did... I made the most of it. Here's to one of the luckiest small little girls I know. Meet my lil nieceish.... Ayla:

 Ayla; definition: perfect

 are you giggling?

16 days... sitting up, cares about a pillow prop

 Who are those creepah's?

I can't wait until A is a little older so I can use her again as a little model. Thank God that your friends make cute kids right?! It makes the whole 'learning to take pictures' supah easy. wouldn't it be mad awks if they were... noooottt so cute? thank goodness. Im a lucky auntieish. Until next time, keep growing A, and smiling, and giggling, and being re-god-damn-diculously cute. xoxoxoxo.

242 grew up... well some of us.

Senior year of college I lived in an apartment with Dana, Danielle, and Taya. We lived in 242... or 232... or whatever... who remembers minor details when they're drunk?
Here's us in college:
retarded, right??

So anyway... we graduated in 2007 and since then lets just say we've grown up a lil. I mean some of us. Im still pretty retarded. In December we had a small little reunion at Danielle's beautiful home in Westfield. I meeeannn where else would we reunite?! Dayn and I picked up a box of wine on the way to make it official and we celebrated like old times. with a few small... very small additions.
Here's 242 these days:
please note the wine glasses on the right... and the children on the left. right... like you didnt.

Annnnyway, heres a small look at the beautiful children that my roomates made.

Jolie Claire Skribs... This kid actually makes me giggle because she's so cute. Have you ever seen such a small bundle of love? I dont think you have. Here's to never growing hair... because you're that much cuter when you're bald.

 The apple doesn't fall far.

I can't wait to see Jolie make all the Tay faces.

Did I mention there weren't one... but TWO babies created by that ever fertile 242? Good thing Din and Lee met in high school because the good loooohhhhddd had plenty of time to create this perfect little being we know and love as Nolan Patrick. Lee and Danielle have a beautiful home, a beautiful son, and a happy happy life. sigh.... try to tell me you're not a lil jealous.
Meet my small man, Nolan Patrick, and his born to be parents:

 Don't worry... he's still perfect

Get used to this look, Din.

three seconds later.. Nolan projectile vomited... true story.
Is this even real?!... it is, I took the picture.

Next up... Dana and her small. Sorry Dave, its destiny. Ill take pics, as long as you can stand me ;)
